Alice Murphy Obituary, Death – With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our dearly loved Mother, Alice Murphy, on 5/8/23. She was surrounded by her loving family as she peacefully embarked on her eternal journey. Her departure has left an immense void in our lives, but we find solace in knowing that she is now at rest.
Alice’s life was one of boundless love, compassion, and selflessness. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband John, and a caring mother to her sons and daughters Teresa, Eileen, Margaret, Ann, John, Martin, Paul, Alice, Patrick, Gérard, and Fernando. Her devotion extended to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose lives she enriched with her warmth and wisdom. Alice led a life of purpose and dedication.
She was a pillar of strength for her family, providing unwavering support and guidance through every triumph and challenge. Her love knew no bounds, and she selflessly put the needs of others before her own. Tonight (Sunday) at 7 pm, we will gather at her family home, 54 Balholm Drive, Bt14 7na, to pay our respects and celebrate the life of this remarkable woman.
Friends, family, and all who knew her are invited to join us during this time of reflection and remembrance. In accordance with her wishes, Alice’s funeral will take place at 10 am on Wednesday morning at Holy Cross. It will be a solemn occasion to bid farewell to a cherished soul and honor the legacy she leaves behind. Alice’s faith was an essential part of her life. She found solace in the prayers and intercession of St. Pio and Our Lady of Medjugorje.
We take comfort in knowing that she is now embraced in their heavenly presence. As per her request, there will be no intentions in the paper. Instead, we shall hold her memory dear in our hearts and cherish the time we spent with her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a charitable cause close to your heart, as a tribute to Alice’s giving spirit and philanthropic nature.
