Andrew Stockdale Obituary, Death – An unexpected death occurred earlier today in the life of Andrew Stockdale, affectionately known as Stocky by those of us who knew and loved him. This information is being sent to you with a deep sense of remorse on our part. We have to tell you the news that we have to break to you with a sad heart because it is something that we have to do.
Everyone, and especially those who had the privilege of knowing Stocky and being charmed by his infectious smile and general aura of mischief, would surely experience a sense of loss upon learning of his demise; nevertheless, those who had the most reason to mourn this loss would be those who had the opportunity to spend time with him. Those individuals who have had the privilege of interacting with Stocky may attest to the accuracy of this statement.
Those people who had the privilege of spending time with Stocky were, as you might think, the ones who stood the most to lose as a result of his death. Whether it be on the playing field of a sport, in the spectator stands of the game, at the watering hole, or, considerably more frequently than not, on the dancing floor. Stocky was the epitome of what it means to be a gentleman in every sense of the word. The other members of the club regarded him as a friend, and whenever assistance was needed, he was always ready to step up and provide it.
He was a highly useful contributor to the team as a whole. On behalf of the Melton Rugby Football Club, I would like to offer my most heartfelt sympathies to all of Stocky’s friends and family members during this difficult time. The realization that this is in reality the case has made me feel quite indignant. When I was younger and playing rugby at the club, he was a lovely person to have around. He was always encouraging and supportive. He was a remarkable example of the human race. In the midst of this difficult moment, I am keeping everyone at MMRFC x in my thoughts as we attempt to overcome this obstacle.
