Alison Simmons Accident, Death – I’ll never be able to fathom why such a shining star was abruptly snatched from her lovely family and friends. I’ll always treasure the memories I have of Alison. The years I spent coaching and seeing this young lady develop from a hesitant softball player into an absolute beast at the plate and behind the dish will always hold a special place in my heart.
In order to save me from losing any teeth, Alison kindly offered to catch Emilie for her pitching lesson. There are far too many memories of games, camping excursions, and vehicle rides to list them all. Both Alison’s love for the game and her affection for her family and friends were undeniable. There are really no words in this scenario, and my heart hurts for her family. Please remember to pray for her parents, sister, other family members, and friends.
