Ciara McKenna Obituary, Death – It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of a cherished member of our community, Ciara McKenna. Ciara’s departure leaves a void that extends far beyond her family and friends, touching the hearts of many in Longford and beyond.

Ciara McKenna, of 12 Ardan Alainn, Faranagh Hill, Longford, was not just a bright soul but a beacon of joy to those fortunate enough to know her. Her presence was a source of light and positivity, and her departure leaves a shadow that will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of crossing her path.
Predeceased by her aunt Deirdre, as well as her grandparents Finbar and Nancy, and Patrick and Mary-Jo, Ciara is survived by her heartbroken family. Her parents, Fiona and Seamus, her sister Anna, and her brothers Andrew and Mark, all mourn the loss of a beloved daughter and sister.
Ciara’s absence will also be deeply felt by her aunts, uncles, her darling niece Caitlin, cousins, neighbors, and her many good friends. Ciara’s life will be celebrated in a manner that reflects her vibrant and bubbly spirit. Her funeral services will begin with a period of reposing in Connell’s Funeral Home, Church St, Longford, on Wednesday, the 13th, from 6 pm, concluding with prayers at 8 pm.
On Thursday, the 14th, the funeral cortege will leave her home, arriving at St. Mel’s Cathedral, Longford, for a Requiem Mass at 11 am. Following the Mass, Ciara will be laid to rest in the family plot in Ballymacormack Cemetery. In accordance with Ciara’s radiant personality, her family has requested that everyone attending the funeral wear bright colors as a tribute to her vibrant spirit.
