Daniel Dossett Obituary Death – Mr. Daniel “Danny” Dossett, who had spent his entire life working as a bus driver and had graduated from OSHS in 1981, died away not too long ago; the OSSD is deeply saddened to learn of his passing. Mr. Dossett graduated with the class of 1981 while he attended that school.
Over the course of nearly 28 years, Danny worked as a bus driver for the OSSD. For the past 15 years, he has run the same route, during which time he has picked up students living in the northern Gulf Park Estates neighbourhood on bus #13. During this time, Danny was also in charge of arranging transport for students who lived in the OSSD and went to school there. Before Danny made the decision to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a member of the Ocean Springs Sheriff’s Department, he had already spent the previous 25 years of his career serving as a firefighter for the Ocean Springs Fire Department.

You are strongly encouraged to go to the services that will be held at the Woodhaven Baptist Church on the Saturday after this one if you are interested in going. Services will begin at 10:00 am. The visiting will start at 10:30 in the morning and continue all the way through noon in the afternoon. The funeral service will start as soon as the visitation is over, which will be immediately followed by the end of the wake.
