Eva Chavez Obituary, Death – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eva Chavez, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and cherished friend. Eva’s journey on this earth came to an end on August 4, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Her passing has left a void in the lives of those who knew and loved her deeply. Eva’s unwavering strength and love for her family and friends were evident in every aspect of her life. She faced her battle with cancer with grace and bravery, serving as an inspiration to all who witnessed her resilience. Her memory will forever be a beacon of strength and love in the hearts of her loved ones.
Eva is survived by her children Stanley Cardiel, Elizabeth Cardiel, and Daniel Cardiel. She was the devoted widow of George S. Chavez and the loving mother of her late daughter Joanne Chavez and her late son George S. Chavez. Her love extended to 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, whose lives she enriched with her affection and care.
To all who offered kindness and support during this difficult time, Eva’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude. Your love and presence meant the world to them as they navigated through the challenges of saying goodbye to a cherished matriarch. Following the completion of the Mass, burial services will take place at All Souls Cemetery, located at 4400 Cherry Ave, Long Beach, CA 90807. A reception will be held to honor Eva’s life at 12302 Dune Street, Norwalk, CA 90650.
