Evelyn Mays Obituary Death – To show proper respect for her granddaughter, who is very important to me, I delayed telling anyone about the passing of this incredible woman who had been a part of my life. I wished for her to be able to take the time she needed to mourn the loss of her cherished Omi and make the announcement when it was convenient for her.
Erika is the person who inspired me to pursue a career in the beauty industry, and she is also responsible for my current roles as a salon owner and educator. Before I left to be with the rest of my Sunlights team in Atlanta, I am so thankful that I had the chance to tell her how much I love her and what an important role she had in my life. The events of the past weekend have left a lot to take in. And I am thankful to those people who helped me through it with their love, grace, and strength.
When I found out the news, I’m very thankful that I was surrounded by some of my closest friends. They succeeded in giving me the impression that I was encircled by affection. Erika was a wonderful woman in every way. I will never be able to adequately describe how much of a difference she made in my life and, by extension, in the lives of everyone else that this incredible career of mine has allowed me to affect. I shall always be inexpressibly thankful to her for everything. Erika, may you finally find peace. You are adored incomparably.
