Faith Alaniz Missing – On January 14, 2023, at 9:21 p.m., deputies from the Cabazon Station of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department were called to the 12400 block of Dailey Road in Banning, California, in response to a report of a missing child. The child was said to have been last seen in the Banning area.
The 12400 block of Dailey Road was the last place where the child was spotted. The individual who filed the report indicated that her child, who had been reported as missing, could possibly be at the location where the incident took place. Deputy sheriffs who responded to the call found the dead corpse of a woman in the trunk of a vehicle when they got to the scene.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the woman in question was in fact Faith Alaniz, a girl of 15 years old who had at some point been reported as missing. The investigation has been given to Investigator Hood, who works out of the Cabazon Sheriff’s Station. He has been tasked with taking the lead on it.
In the following few months, the investigation was worked on nonstop, and a man from Banning named James Dailey, who was 51 years old, was identified as the person responsible for the killing of Alaniz. It was determined that Dailey was the person responsible for the act that eventually led to Alaniz’s passing, and he was held accountable for it. In connection with the allegations that Dailey was involved in a murder, Ramey had issued a warrant for Dailey’s arrest.
