Gerardo Prado Obituary, Torrance Resident Has Passed Away

Gerardo Prado Obituary Death – Medical examiners working for the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office have determined the identity of the truck driver who was discovered dead in his cab on Tuesday. The man was a large rig driver. Officers of the California Highway Patrol responded to an emergency service call on Interstate 5 soon after 2:00 p.m. and found the body of 62-year-old Torrance resident Gerardo Barragan Prado.

A CHP spokesman stated that fire workers found Prado inside the cab of the truck, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, which was on the shoulder of the road next to the Smokey Bear Road onramp. However, the medical examiners have not yet announced an official cause of death pending the findings of an autopsy. It is generally acknowledged that the man passed away due to natural causes; however, the medical examiners have not yet released an official cause of death.

There do not appear to be any signs of foul play at the place where the body was located, according to Josh Greengard, a spokesperson for the office of the California Highway Patrol that handles the Newhall region. The deceased person was found at the location. Melanie Flores, a dispatch supervisor for the Los Angeles County Fire Department, offered her thoughts on the occurrence on Tuesday, referring to the first call that was received on the incident. “It was a report of a full (cardiac) arrest with the sheriff en route,” she said. She went on to say that a short time after their arrival, an official from the fire department requested that the ambulance be canceled.
