His presence in our lives was a true blessing, as he radiated unwavering warmth and exceptional character. A devoted athlete, dedicated worker, and steadfast perfectionist, Jack’s heart belonged to the great outdoors.

Whether he was hiking, fishing, hunting, free diving, or riding the waves on his surfboard, nature’s embrace brought him pure joy. Yet, it was his ability to connect with people on a profound level that truly defined him. He effortlessly forged deep friendships, transcending age, geography, and interests. In Jack, we found an extraordinary son, brother, and friend. He filled our lives with laughter, tales, and the beauty of his genuine spirit.

His heart knew no bounds, and his friendships were limitless in their impact. Regardless of age, distance, or passion, Jack had an uncanny ability to touch each person’s heart in a profoundly unique and meaningful way. Tragically, addiction’s grip took hold of Jack at a young age, following a sports injury that led to surgeries and prolonged hospitalization.

Over the course of seven challenging years, he valiantly fought this battle, driven by his unwavering love for his family. In his darkest moments, Jack’s priority remained caring for and supporting those around him. In memory of Jack’s loving and giving nature, his family is establishing a foundation in his name, dedicated to aiding individuals and families who are battling addiction.

Jack’s legacy of compassion and selflessness will be carried forward through this foundation, as we strive to illuminate the shadows of addiction with hope and healing. Addiction thrives in secrecy, but together, we can shine a light of awareness, understanding, and support. Let us honor Jack’s memory by reaching out to our loved ones and seeking help without hesitation.

In Jack’s honor, we will stand strong and continue the fight against this formidable foe. In lieu of flowers, we kindly request contributions to Jack’s temporary GoFundMe page, which will aid in the establishment of the foundation that will carry forth his legacy of love, generosity, and resilience. Jack, your absence leaves an ache that words cannot convey, but your love, laughter, and indomitable spirit will forever echo in our hearts.
