Throughout his illustrious tenure, he served with exceptional distinction, upholding the highest values of law enforcement and earning the respect and admiration of all who knew him. After over 30 years of selfless and honorable service, Captain Laverty retired in 1985, leaving behind a legacy of exemplary leadership and a devotion to duty that inspired his peers and the next generation of law enforcement officers.

SGT John Laverty Jr, LT Steven Laverty, Officer William Laverty, and Det.
