John Vignoli Obituary, Death – Announcement: My name is Tyler Vignoli, and I am John’s son. I would want to use this opportunity to formally introduce myself to everyone here. I must break the news to you with a heavy heart that your father passed away on Thursday, August 3rd in Danbury Hospital. I am sorry to have to tell you this. At the time of his demise, he was encircled by the people who meant the most to him.
There will be a subsequent announcement made on the date as well as the timing of the services. I am beyond distraught to learn of the tragedy that has befallen your family. My heart goes out to you. We have made use of the services that your dad has provided over the years, and he has always been such a kind and lovely person. I’m able to recall many of the wonderful conversations that the two of us had together.
I am deeply saddened to learn of the loss you endured. John was a man who was extraordinarily thoughtful, caring, and concerned. In 2008, John was the first time I met him in person. He was the one who drove me to Beth Israel Hospital in the city after he found out he had cancer and I was there to visit him there. Since that time, John has been the only person we’ve ever trusted to work on our vehicles.
In addition to the travel to and from the airport, there are multiple trips made to and from the city. And so it goes, John. Two weeks ago, I had a talk with him, and I am heartbroken to hear this incredibly awful news. Our last conversation took place just two weeks ago. Even the day after a Nor’easter that did a lot of damage, he’s never failed to transport me to the airport on time, despite the fact that he’s been someone I’ve relied on for years now, and I’ve counted on him. I am sad for the tragedy that his family has had to through.
