Juana Reeves Obituary, Death –Juana A. Reeves (Garcia), aged 73, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023, enveloped by her loved ones at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, NJ, following a brief illness. Juana was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, and subsequently became a cherished member of the Vineland City community. She was the daughter of the late Juan and Antonia Garcia Moyet.
She is survived by her son, Juan Morales, stepson Samuel Reeves, step-grandchildren Spencer, two sisters Ann Jacobs and Linda Garcia, and four brothers Sherwin, Neil, Jose, and Izzy Garcia, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Juana’s legacy includes 42 years of dedicated service, as she worked tirelessly at Newcomb Hospital and later at Inspira Medical Center in their business office.
Her retirement in 2014 marked the culmination of a career marked by diligence and commitment. Her connection to her faith was strong, as she was a longstanding member of Divine Mercy Parish. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Juana possessed a fervent passion for reading, travel, and collecting. Her enthusiasm for life was evident in her love for family gatherings, nurturing her garden, and indulging in the joy of shopping.
These interests and hobbies spoke to her vibrant personality and her desire to make the most of every moment. Juana was preceded in death by her husband, Norman I. Reeves, her brother Adam Garcia, and stepson Daniel Reeves. In her final moments, she was surrounded by family, the individuals who meant the most to her.
A celebration of Juana’s life will take place on Thursday, August 24th, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Divine Mercy Parish, 23 West Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, followed by her Funeral Liturgy at 11:00 am.
