Marge Stokes Obituary Dead – It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you of the demise of Marge Stokes, who was a long-time member of our organization. Marge and her late husband Don were both enthusiastic contributors to the club for a good portion of their lives, with Don serving in a variety of capacities, including that of Commodore.
Marge was engaging, entertaining, and game for anything at any time. Love, Las Vegas, was the meaning behind her LV LV license plate. That reveals a great deal. So many people are going to miss her greatly. The Red Dragon Canoe Club and Shipman Mansion families would like to extend our sincerest condolences to Marge’s extended family and all of her close friends. I used to spend a lot of time with Marge in the kitchen, and I also went on vacation with a lot of the couples back in those days. What a fantastic and admirable human being. Many smiles and joyful times were had by all! Best of luck to you, Marge! Please share my love with everyone who is in charge. We were at a retirement party for another couple and it was also Don and Marge’s retirement celebration. I did not know either of them but of course Jack did, and then they joined the RDCC,, What a party it will beDon and Marge worked for Bell Telephone.
