Mary Wills Obituary, Resident of Refugio Has Sadly Passed Away

Mary Wills Obituary Death – We mourn the death of our mother, Mary Linda Wills of Refugio, Texas. Mary Linda died at 73 on Sunday, August 13. Jessie and Estella Gonzales had her in Refugio on September 1, 1949. Everyone called Mary Linda Nana, a loving wife, mother, daughter, cousin, aunt, grandmother, great grandma, and friend. She enjoyed calling family and friends and sitting on her front porch with her lifelong lover and spouse Cleatus Eugene Wills. Her favorite thing was getting ready for Refugio Bobcat football on Friday mornings.

She attended every game over the years, witnessing her son, grandsons, nephews, relatives, and loving daughters play the game she loved in the band. Though she is gone, her soul lives on via her wonderful memories and love for family and friends.All who knew Mary Linda (Nana) will miss her. Though our hearts ache, we will find comfort in knowing she is at peace and watching us from above.

She is survived by her husband, Cleatus Eugine Wills of Refugio; daughters Tammy Gonzales (Victoria), Kimberly Wills (Refugio), and Tina Villareal Springs (Arthur) of Kerrville; son Dexter Gonzales Wills (Priscilla) of Corpus Christi; sister Diana Perez (Fernando) of Bloomington; brothers Jessie Gonzales (Diana) of Woodsboro and Johnny Gonzales (Rosie) of Refugio; step sister Patsy Anzaldua (Refugio); and first grandchild Destin

Moore Funeral Home in Refugio, Texas, will have visitation from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 20th, followed by a Rosary. On Monday, August 21, at 10:00 a.m., St. James Catholic Church in Refugio, Texas will have funeral services. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 19th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Little Britt of Heaven in Refugio, Texas.
