Mona McVeigh Obituary, Death – Mona McVeigh, Yvonne McVeigh’s illustrious mother, was our acclaimed chairwoman for a number of years during her daughter’s lifetime. In addition to being Paul’s mother-in-law, she was the grandma of our teachers Maeve, Anna, and Helen.
She was also the mother of Paul’s husband. She had her beginnings in Ireland but spent her latter years in the United States. As a result of hearing the news about her demise, everyone at Dungannon Comhaltas is in an extreme state of mourning at the moment. Mona was a pillar of support for our division, for traditional music, and, most significantly, for her grandchildren and her family. She was such a great and magnificent person. Many people are going to miss her terribly.
She had a great time competing in the Fleadh and in the other events, and those of us who knew her and had the chance to spend time with her appreciated her amusing and insightful company. She had a great time participating in the Fleadh and in the other events. Participating in the Fleadh was an amazing experience for her. The news of her demise has left us feeling incredibly heartbroken, but at the same time, we count it as a wonderful blessing that we had the chance to get to know such a lovely lady before she passed away.
We will be forever grateful for the time we were able to spend with Mona, and we would want to send Mona’s family our most sincere condolences during this trying time. Yvonne, Paul, Helen, Eimear, Maeve, and Anna, in addition to the rest of the McVeigh and McDonald families, are at the forefront of our minds right now. In addition, we are thinking about the rest of the McVeigh and McDonald families during this difficult time.
I am at a loss for words to properly express my appreciation; nevertheless, please be assured that I hope nothing but the best for the both of you.
