Ona Iverson Obituary, Death- Ona Lee Elsie Iverson, who was born in Kiester, Minnesota, passed away on September 6, 2023 at the age of 93. The news of her passing has left us with heavy hearts and we want to share it with the world.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roger, as well as her sisters Helen Strohschein, Hazel Kepple, and Lois Matson; her brothers-in-law Al Strohschein, Paul Kepple, Elton Matson, Wallace Brudvig, Ed Nelson, Orion Iverson, and Frances Nelson; her parents-in-law Adolph and Mabel Iverson; and her nephew Charles Matson. She is survived by her nephew Charles Matson.
She is survived by : her children, Joan Iverson Nassauer (Robert Nassauer) of Ann Arbor, Richard Iverson of Hood River and Neal Iverson (Kathy Kramer) of Ames, Iowa.; her grandchildren, Sarah Nassauer (Jerome Tagger) of Hudson, Mae Nassauer of Ann Arbor, Joe Iverson of Pasadena and Ellen Iverson of Burlingame; her great grandchildren, Aida and Nica Tagger; and her sister-in-law Helen Brudvig of Hastings. Additionally, she leaves behind a large number of nieces and nephews.
The church fellowship hall will be the location of visitation on the afternoon of Friday, September 15th, 2023, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. On Friday, September 15th, 2023, at 6:00 PM, a funeral ceremony will be performed at the First Lutheran Church, which is located at 3939 Cheyenne Blvd, Sioux City, Iowa 51104.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Special Music Department of First Lutheran Church in Sioux City, the Nature Conservancy for Loess Hills Preservation in the Broken Kettle Grasslands in Plymouth County, or Hospice of Siouxland.
