I’m going to give it my best shot. There is always a Peter Cassidy in every community and in every club; he is the unassuming person who works hard behind the scenes and does the work that no one notices or appreciates. In other words, he is the person.
To put it another way, he is the individual. The CLUB was always the primary focus of his concentration, and as a result, he never had any problems in any other area of his life. When we got together, particularly on nights when we went out to the club, he would constantly ask the same question: “How’s everything going with the club?” In spite of this, he was always available to assist with the countless mundane tasks that needed to be completed.
It is generally agreed upon that the remark made by his close friend Joe Smyth, who simply remarked that “Peter was the rock within the Cambridge fc club,” is one of the most sincere compliments that has ever been given. This is because Joe Smyth just remarked that “Peter was the rock within the Cambridge fc club.” It’s a well-known fact that no other honour can compare to this one’s achievements. During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with the Peters family, and our hearts go out to them.
