Stella Morton Obituary, Death – The 10th of August, 2023 was the day that Stella Dolores (Fritts) Morton passed away. She has 91 years under her belt. Dolores spent the majority of her adult life in St. Petersburg, Florida, despite the fact that she was born in Monterey Park, California. She spent several years working in the floral industry, both as a designer and in wholesale flower distribution.
Her loved ones will always remember her as a woman who had a lot of integrity, strength, and sass, and who was incredibly determined, independent, and loving all at the same time. She brought up her three children almost entirely by herself during a time when it was not the usual. She instilled in them the belief that they are capable of achieving everything they set their minds to in life so long as they are prepared to put in the effort.
Her three children, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren carry on her legacy of love, strength, and integrity thanks to the example she set for them. Dolores is survived by her children, Diana Kuehn (and her husband Steve), Byron Browning (and his wife Cindy), and Michele Curtis (and her husband Don), all of whom live in Flagstaff, Arizona, and Perry, Florida, respectively. Dolores cherished every moment she was able to spend with her six grandchildren:
Crystal Matthaei (Peter), Carson Kuehn (Liz), Cameron Kuehn (Ellie), Parker Browning, and Clay Curtis (Michelle). She also had a very long life, which allowed her to adore and cherish her nine great-grandchildren: John, William, Madeline, Charlie Rose, Nathan, Matthew, Daniel, Chloe, and Bear. This was another one of her many blessings. Funeral services are scheduled to take place on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., and will be handled by Joe P. Burns Funeral Home in Perry, Florida. Pastor Wallace Holmes will preside over the ceremony. Please keep my friend Michele Curtis, as well as all of her family and friends, in your prayers… May you find solace and peace in this difficult time.
