Sylvie Barbeau Obituary, Death – After a brief struggle with cancer, Sylvie Claire Marie Barbeau lost her fight with the disease and passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023. She had reached the age of 60 when she passed away, which occurred several years ago.
Everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving her has a right to the heartfelt condolences of her family. Sylvie’s father, Gerald, who had passed away in the year 2000, eventually found his way to paradise to be with his daughter. She was surrounded by loved ones who will carry on the tradition of paying respect to her memory by carrying out acts of kindness for the benefit of other individuals after her passing.
She will be greatly missed by her devoted mother, Claire, as well as her cherished children, Gabriel Steven Chmielewski and Béatrice Marguerite Rozalie Chmielewski. These are the people who she abandoned after her departure. Dear sister of Chuck Barbeau (Kim), Pete Barbeau (Marilyn), and Marie-Lyne Caza (Ron).
This is something that will remain ingrained in Steve Chmielewski’s memory. Sylvie was a teacher who pushed her students to be the best versions of themselves. She was a hard worker who was also inspiring to her students. Not just in the school setting, but also in the church and in her personal life, Sylvie’s vocation had an effect on her empathy for and support of others who were exposed to discrimination.
This impact was shown in all three settings. She continued to support financially stressed families and young people up until two weeks before she passed away, which is a testament to her love and dedication to the community in which she lived. A celebration of Sylvie’s life will be held in her honor on Sunday, July 31, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at River City Vineyard, which is located at 260 Mitton Street North in Sarnia, Ontario.
Donations to the GoFundMe page made for Gabriel and Beatrice at https://gofundme.me/14382340 are an appropriate way for people to express their condolences given that Sylvie’s last request was for someone to take care of her cherished children. Gabriel and Beatrice would like to express their gratitude for any contributions to River City Vineyard that are made through the website www.rcv.org.
