Ted Allen Obituary Death – Ted attended Ridge High School and received his diploma in 2007 he was born and raised in the town of Basking Ridge, New Jersey. He later joined the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and went on to play college football at Gettysburg College, where he was a member.

Ted’s first encounter with Liane Comanto, the woman he would spend the rest of his life with, took place at Gettysburg College. After receiving his degree from Gettysburg, Ted began his professional career as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte. Subsequently, he moved to New York City and began working as an Assistant Vice President of Foreign Exchange at Brown Brothers Harriman.

Even if his professional accomplishments were incontestable, his knowledge and abilities extended far beyond the realm of finance. Because Ted had such a deep understanding of history, geography, and politics, he was able to dominate Jeopardy! board each night and was a consistent source of debate that was both intellectual and thought-provoking.

His understanding of the Civil War, and more specifically the Battle of Gettysburg, was on par with that of the most knowledgeable battlefield tour guide. Ted, a lifelong student of the game of football and supporter of the Buffalo Bills, appeared to have the capacity to foresee any play or penalty on the field before it even took place.

His favorite recollections were the ones that he made while on the road with Liane, no matter where in the world they took place—from Japan to Spain to Africa. He had a passion for traveling abroad. Ted was a deeply spiritual man who had a firm and unyielding belief in God, which served as the foundation for his ability to persevere through life’s toughest challenges.
