Tom Woods Obituary, Death – The passing of Tom Woods is a sad and unfortunate event. There are certain people and moments in time that have the ability to forever imprint themselves in your memory. These are the things that you can never forget. Quite a few years ago, I had the privilege of having a conversation with a young man by the name of Cory.
He was afflicted with a very aggressive form of cancer that was moving at an alarmingly quick pace. It was important for his family, particularly his father Tom and his soon-to-be-fiancee Ali, that we get to know one another. We have stayed in contact despite the fact that his condition has been steadily deteriorating since that time
. One evening, they all came down to the bike shop to give their support, and from that moment on, they all offered their assistance. Even though Tom was Cory’s girlfriend Alli’s father, he proved to Cory that he would not have to tackle this dispute on his own. Alli was Cory’s girlfriend. The man’s entire family took in the child and showered him with an amount of affection that well surpassed anything else he had ever known in his life up to that point.
Both Cory and I have been through the ordeal of being diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, but we both had a father figure in our lives who loved us without condition, regardless of the relationships we shared with our biological families. I would like to express my appreciation to both Tom and Ali for letting me be a part of Ali’s life.
