William Hockman Obituary, Death- William Joseph Hockman, who was 58 years old at the time of his death on September 10, 2023, passed away in the residence that he shared with his daughter, Kimberly Lynch.
He was a native of the town of English in Indiana. William was born on July 13, 1965 in Hardinsburg, Kentucky to Robert L. Hockman and Linda Martena (Hardesty) Hartwick, both of whom had passed away prior to William’s birth. Both of William’s parents have since passed away. William was born after his mother had already passed away.
William had multiple jobs, including that of a woodworker and a collector of scrap metal. He never missed an opportunity to spend time with his family and was an avid outdoorsman. Both the North American Hunting Association and the National Rifle Association counted him as a member at one point or another.
William was preceded in death by both of his parents, as well as his wife, Mary Comstock. He is survived by his son, William Comstock (Brooke), of Marengo, Indiana; his daughters, Stephanie Comstock of English, Indiana and Kimberly Lynch (Brad), of Leavenworth, Indiana; his brother, Boyd Hockman of Kentucky; his sister, Rosanna Harlan (Thomas), of English, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Lala Lynch, Kylee Lynch, Makiah Grant, Carson Comstock, Josiah Comstock, and Caleigh Comstock.
Funeral services for the dead will be held on the evening of Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from two in the evening until six o’clock in the evening.
Donations in memory of the deceased can be made to the Brown Funeral Home in place of flowers as a way to help the family with the financial burden of the costs involved with the funeral and other associated expenses. The obligation of making the necessary arrangements has been delegated to the Brown Funeral Home.
